It’s my 9th day working at a restaurant and I’m very tired of it. I think It’s mostly cause it’s boring. Anytime I’m learning something new and interesting time passes by quickly. If it’s boring, time stands still.
Day 8 and I’m the cashier again today. I’d gladly do this than washing dishes. It’s probably the easiest job at the restaurant but I’m getting further from my goals of becoming a cook.
Another day washing dishes and another day of traffic. Pain is a good motivator. The way I get through it is by challenging myself with how much I can endure…I know I’m making it sound really bad, it’s more like I’m just very inconvenienced.
It’s my 6th day at Marugame Udon and today I’ll be working the cash register. We seem to be deviating from the “learn to cook” plan.
