Flying from LA to Tokyo again in ANA economy (All Nippon Air). I’d fly with them over AA or United any day since the overall experience is pretty good.
Los Angeles to Tokyo in American Airlines economy seat (bulkhead 13H): A long journey in poor conditions.
When I’m not flying in the premium seats, lounge access can still be available to anyone with Priority Pass. My home base is LAX so whenever I’m traveling internationally through LAX’s TBIT, I get to use the Korean Airlines (KAL) lounge.
After leaving the best Priority Lounge in Malta, it was a good time to reset my expectations by visiting one of the worst lounges I’ve ever been to, the “Business Lounge” in Cluj Airport.
I’m a big fan of getting free stuff. When traveling through airports, free airport lounge access is always amazing since they have wifi, comfy seats, drinks and food. Lounge access can be attained with Priority Pass.
Review of Dublin Airport’s DAA Executive Lounge. An airport lounge accessible by premium passengers and freeloaders like me that have the Priority Pass.
Taking the Airlink Express (Dublin airport bus) is the cheapest way (7 Euros) to get to Dublin’s city center from the airport.
Dublin Airport (DUB) is absolute chaos. From arriving to departing, it’s an airport I’ll definitely avoid in the future when possible.
Hotels and even hostels are very expensive in Iceland. If you’re staying in Reykjavik, that’s a 40-minute drive to the airport. And if you have an early flight, it’s even more challenging. Many people choose to sleep at Iceland KEF airport and it’s not a problem.
Update 2019: Wow Air is no longer in service. Wow! This flight was budget. I got a one-way ticket from Los Angeles to Dublin (with a 19 hour layover in Iceland) for $330. That price included seat selection (7A window seat), priority boarding and a carry-on bag.
