Henn Na Hotel is known to be the first robot hotel in the world, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a good hotel. The robot hotel Japan doesn’t live up to the crazy expectations I had from seeing futuristic movies. The Henna Hotel did not even meet the expectations of a 2-Star […]
Ok, it was close to free! It was in the free “area code”. I used 44,000 Radisson Rewards hotel points to stay at the Radisson Blu Malta Golden Sands rather than paying the $300+/night the hotel was retailing for. Plus, I got an upgraded room!
After being jet-lagged and suffering from insomnia at a hostel in Dublin, it was time to recover some sleep.
When you’re staying in a hotel that costs $400/night, you’re going to have really high expectations. This review will show you what you get for that price at the Radisson Blu Royal Dublin.
I was surprised how expensive hotels are in Dublin. If you’re looking for a place to stay around Dublin city center, expect to pay $250+ per night. Some people work hard at trying to make more money. I find it easier trying to save more money. So I find sales and promotions that I can take advantage of the save money while traveling…and it works out even better when I’m getting paid to stay at hotels!
Staying at the Hyatt Regency Naha using 6k hotel points and $75USD per night. This was a great option due to the location and redemption value.
There happened to be an IHG Accelerate bonus promotion at the time of my booking. One of my offers was to redeem a cash and points booking with any IHG hotel and I’d get a big bonus. I ended up being able to book the ANA Crowne Plaza Okinawa for 10k IHG points and $87.20USD.
The place seemed very new since everything was in pristine condition. This was probably the nicest capsule hotel (if that’s even the right term) that I’ve ever stayed in.
The ANA Intercontinental Tokyo is very old and isn’t as modern as their sister property the Intercontinental Osaka. I regret wasting my IHG free night at this location.
