Japanese black curry from食堂ぬーじボンボンZ (translation: Cafeteria Inuji Bonbon Z) was tasty, but finding the place and ordering was a lot more fun.
While in Okinawa, I was craving some spicy food. I searched Google, TripAdvisor and Yelp. Not too many results/reviews for restaurants, so I decided to take a chance on a place nearby that served Taiwanese Stir Noodles: Mahoroba. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
The only place that serves green tea beer is at 1899 Ochanomizu in Tokyo. It tastes very bitter along the lines of a concentrated green tea and an IPA. Served as a half pint, I struggled to finish this due to the bitterness.
I love Japanese Curry and end up mostly eating at Coco Ichibanya. But, as I was walking around Tokyo I found a place called Hinoya Curry that served an amazing plate of curry. It was the best curry I’ve ever had!
Game Bar Continue: An Osaka Video Game Bar I found an Osaka Video Game Bar! A very cool retro gaming spot. Nostalgia, alcohol and video games all in one location in Osaka, Japan. Game Bar Continue brings it all to you.
I ended up spending a week in Chiang Mai and 5 of those days were spent at the mall. I don’t like shopping and when I do it’s always online. So most of my time at the mall was spent doing all the non-shopping options.
I’m a big fan of the korean BBQ restaurant in Los Angeles’ K-Town “Kang Hodong Baekjeong.” Within the LA restaurant, they have posters of the other cities they have restaurants in, which happened to be the city I was currently if for the New Year’s break, Sydney.
