As I was looking through the brochure for Huis Ten Bosch, one of the attractions was a restaurant staffed by robots. Seeing this as another unique experience, we made our way to the robot restaurant to grab some food.

I didn’t set off in an adventure to find the scariest arcade in Japan, but that’s how things ended up. It was one of the coolest destinations I found on Atlas Obscura and I just happen to like arcades. I also like not being murdered.

At an izakaya called 炉端亜紗 喜三郎 (Kozaburo Kirisaki) in Nagasaki, I noticed two unusual menu options: whale and horse. I haven’t really thought about eating those two creatures before, but since I had the opportunity I went for it.
There’s really only two options to get to Nagasaki city from Nagasaki Airport: You can take an expensive taxi or the airport limousine bus for 900JPY.
